Built for the lists you share out loud

The jobs you shout up the stairs, the plans you text about, the checklist someone always forgets.

The house

Everyone at home works from the same board. Put a name on each job, and when something’s been sitting there too long, give whoever’s on it a nudge.

  • Assign any task to anyone on the list
  • Nudge the person it’s assigned to with a friendly email
  • Clear all the finished jobs off the list in one go

  • Drag to reorder, or drop one task onto another to make it a subtask
  • You both see every change, each on your own phone

Rather stay in Google Tasks?
That works too.

Tasktastic works with Google Tasks. Your lists are on your board as soon as you’re in, and each shared list gets its own copy in every member’s Google Tasks.

  • You choose what’s shared

Lists are private until you share one. The people you invite see that list and nothing else on your board, and you can remove someone, or leave a list, at any time.

  • Your lists, already here

Once you’re in, your Google Tasks lists are on the board. There’s nothing to import.

  • Shared lists show up in Google Tasks

Tick a task off, rename it or change its date in Google Tasks, and Tasktastic brings the change back to everyone on the list.

  • Collaboration lives in Tasktastic

Assignees, subtasks, roles and nudges are on the board. Google Tasks keeps a plain copy.

  • Your Google Tasks stay yours

Stop using Tasktastic and your own lists are still in Google Tasks, just as you left them.

What Tasktastic can see

Your Google Tasks, plus your name, email address and profile photo to sign you in. Other people only ever see the lists you share with them. We don’t sell your Google data, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models. Read the privacy policy.

How do I get in?

Tasktastic is in a closed beta. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when there’s a place for you. We invite people in small groups so we can look after everyone properly.

What Google data does Tasktastic use?

When you sign in with Google, Tasktastic receives your name, email address and profile photo, and asks for permission to read and manage your Google Tasks. It uses that to show your lists and to copy shared lists into each member’s Google Tasks.

We don’t sell your Google data, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models. You can remove Tasktastic’s access at any time in your Google account permissions. The privacy policy has the detail.

Who can see my lists?

Only you, until you share one. Sharing works a list at a time: the people you invite see that list and nothing else on your board.

You stay in control afterwards. You can change what each person can do, remove people from a list you own, and leave any list you’re on. If someone invites you, you can reject the invitation or block them from inviting you again.

Does everyone on a list need Tasktastic?

Each person signs in to Tasktastic once with their Google account when they accept the invite. After that they can use Tasktastic for assignees, subtasks and notifications, or simply follow the list in Google Tasks.

What does it cost?

Nothing while Tasktastic is in beta. Use is subject to our fair use policy, which keeps the service fast for everyone: it rules out things like automated access, reselling and adding large numbers of people to a list.

Can someone follow a list without changing it?

Yes. Give them the “Can view” role. They see every task on the list but can’t edit it.

Does it work on my phone?

Tasktastic is a web app that works in any modern browser. On your phone you can add it to your home screen and open it like any other app.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@tasktastic.app and we’ll delete your account and your personal data. Your own Google Tasks stay in your Google account.
